Prior to buying: I’m 27 years old and this was my first time purchasing a home (condo). I heard about Brian through a friend who was also looking to purchase a home. I had met prior agents who were money hungry and inpatient, however, Brian was the complete opposite and made his main goal finding me my first dream home. Brian helped us with the purchase of our first home, the purchase of a pre-construction condo and the subsequent assignment sale thereof. He really knows he stuff and responds quickly to texts/emails/calls. For the house, we were competing with other buyers and his strategy and recommendations allowed us to get the home we wanted. During the condo purchasing process, he not only helped us secure the corner unit, but he made himself available to attend the "upgrades" appointment. He made sure we only purchased what would add value to the unit otherwise, we could have easily fallen into the trap of overspending or not opting in for some of the upgrades that would be desirable to a purchaser (running the risk of them passing in favour of purchasing another unit). Brian is always patient and helpful with my seemingly unending questions. He also keeps me apprised of what's happening in the market and I feel I can call any time to discuss real estate opportunities, strategies and sometimes "just because". I first met Brian when I needed to sell my Mother's home. She had moved into a Seniors Home and most of her belongings were still there. I met Brian for the first time mid November and we discussed the possibility of selling my house in the Bathurst and Sheppard area. Immediately, I appreciated Brian's attentive yet calm manner. He looked at the house and property and then we engaged in a discussion about the house, surrounding area, my thoughts and then he shared his thoughts. His suggestions were very "doable", paint neutral colours in the two rooms that were more vibrant and declutter. He suggested that the house go on the market just after the winter holidays as there are usually less homes on the market. He suggested a listing price that was in line with my thoughts and what was happening in the neighborhood at the time. Once all agreed, Brian kept me in the loop, texts, emails, calls and he even visited once the projects were completed. Never did I feel that I wasn't a valued client. An offer came in and again, Brian's calm expertise truly helped alleviate my anxiety of selling a house and of being in a different country at the same time. Brian continued to be in constant communication, sharing information and expertise until the house fully closed. He is very knowledgeable about realty and I would use him again in a heartbeat.
